My friend and I had a wonderful experience here at Vasara, as someone has mentioned in another review the selection of basic kimonos is a bit narrow, however they are all very beautiful and can be styled with a huge variety of obi, bags and shoes. On rainy days you can borrow very pretty umbrellas for free so no matter what you're going to go home with a camera roll full of amazing pictures. Also, the staff is very nice and welcoming! I definitely recommend Vasara for a great kimono experience~~~

The staff here are very nice and carefully explain rental details even to non-japanese speakers. Price is reasonable for the experience especially if you are going to see the firework festival.
